FSPTL Foundation Committees

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for  designing, overseeing, and executing initiatives to raise money for the foundation.  This includes working with the Treasurer to outline annual fundraising goals and ensure alignment with the organization’s budget.  The committee also oversees donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, and compliance with applicable laws. 

Communications and Technology Committee

The Communications and Technology committee is responsible for enhancing communications across multiple platforms such as newsletters, township publications, social media, and library signage.  They are adopting new digital tools to protect data and serve our community.

Historical Preservation Committee

The Historical Preservation Committee is responsible for preserving the past while curating the future.  They are busy digitizing the Friends of the South Park Township Legacy.  This includes mapping the organization's journey and creating a timeline of events.  They are also planning to work with the South Park Historical Society.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for recording, reviewing, and managing the finances of the foundation.  They work under the direction of the Treasurer in creating financial reports and metrics while developing policies and procedures to support accuracy of all financial data.  They help craft budgets, monitor financial health, ensure compliance, and plan for long-term growth.

Membership Committee

 The Membership Committee is responsible for securing new members and maintaining up-to-date records of members’ interests. They organize volunteer recruitment drives to inspire participation and strengthen the organization’s community impact. They collaborate with event organizers to ensure volunteers are effectively matched with opportunities that align with their skills and interests. 

Community Outreach Committee

 The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for building relationships with the broader community to promote the organization’s mission and programs. It coordinates events, partnerships, and communications to engage residents and businesses.  The committee also gathers community feedback to inform and strengthen the organization’s outreach efforts.
